Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer que ce samedi 17 septembre, nous commencerons notre exposition de livres d'artistes contemporains ! Pour entamer, Katrien de Blauwer présentera l'un de ses propres carnets lors de sa séance de dédicace ce jeudi 15 septembre, de 18h à 20h. Puis, le samedi entre 16h et 19h, certains des artistes participant à l'exposition seront présents pour vous présenter leurs œuvres exposées. Ces livres d'artiste sont en grande partie réalisés à la main en petites quantités à l'aide de matériaux sélectionnés avec soin et spécialement conçus, et se manifestent par des œuvres d'art sophistiquées au format unique. Les photographes présents seront, entre autres, Chloe Jafe, Sergej Vutuc, Arno Bouchard et Juan Manuel Abellan. Vous pourrez également découvrir les créations de Laura Rodari, Olivier Pin-Fat, Lorenzo Castore, Miho Kajioka, Lionel Bayolthémine, Tiane Doan Na Champassak, Stéphane Duroy, Roberto Aguirrezabala, Chan Wai Kwong, Zhen Shi, Tomasz Laczny, Lukas Birk, Olli Bery, Valentina Piccinni & Jean-Marc Caimi, Veronica Mecchia et Ana Tornel.
We are excited to annouce that this Saturday, September 17, we will begin our exhibition of contemporary artist's books! To kick it off, Katrien de Blauwer will present one of her own notebooks at her book signing this Thursday, September 15, from 6pm to 8pm. Then, on Saturday between 4pm and 7pm, some of the artists taking part in the exhibition will be present to introduce you to their works on display. These artist's books are largely handmade in small quantities using thoughtfully selected, specially crafted materials and manifest in sophisticated, uniquely formatted works of art. The photographers present will include Chloe Jafe, Sergej Vutuc, Arno Bouchard, Juan Manuel Abellan, among others.
