Instagram is the third project in Mörel’s exercise in publishing a book with restrictive time constraints, spontaneity and randomness.

Consisting of Stephen Shore's complete Instagram feed on the verso page (left) up to the date of printing. The booklet not only explores Shore's utilisation of Instagram as a photographer but also his awareness of the social community connected to it.

With Instagram allowing the viewer to observes posts as a grid as well as individual images - The very nature of Instagram allows the viewer to be selective in the process as well as fleeting.

To emphasize the relationship between the Instagramer and the community we asked Curator, as well as prolific Instagramer Hans Ulrich Obrist to select images from each verso (left) page for emphasis on the recto (right) page - in some cases choosing one image and at times chosing 2,3,4 or the full page.
