Love Ikon presents 34 colour photographs of erotic and sometimes morbid scenes that draw on both Japanese traditions and 19th-century Western literature. Poe meets Millais's Ophelia in images that are violent, subtle and dense. The treatment of the images with colour shifts, scratching and cropping helps to bring out this intense eroticism.
