Comments: Softcover with dust jacket, 180 x 230 mm. First edition, 1972. Black & white photographs. Text in Japanese. Very fine in a near-fine dust-jacket, scarce as such. Inside kept in very good condition with no stains. The text block is firmly attached to the photo block and this is very rare for this book as the weight of the paper is heavier for the photographs, the two parts often become detached and the binding appears. This is not the case here. Highly Collectible. Signed by Moriyama.

Daido Moriyama's third monograph Shashin yo Sayonara – Bye bye Photography (写真よさようなら) published by Shashin Hyoron-sha is an earthquake of images. Grainy out of focus, blurry, strong-contrast visuals, angry and full of raw energy. Even forty years after its first publication it remains one of the most powerful photography books ever.
