STRATI are unique artist books belonging from the work FLEAS, a long-term project, a political elegy aimed especially at young people, questioning the importance and fragility of the construction of individual thinking - free, critical and independent - in relation to our time and history, the key to seeking the truth of ourselves.

The artist books consist of images (photographs + prints; analogic 35 mm black and white corroded due to the use of expired film and fixing treatments and potassium ferricyanide + mothers; artworks created by photocopying directly onto 16mm celluloid film) of faces and market memorabilia displayed in relation to and superimposed on re-edited pages of old popular works (history, geography, philosophy, religion, magic, natural sciences, art, cinema manuals) collected at the market.
